Inked & Stamped Card - Lindsay Mason Stamps and Di Hickman Sketch

I just received two lovely stamp sets I ordered from QVC on Craft Day: Lindsay Mason and Paula Pascual.

Gorgeous designs and I had to play with them, what better excuse to use Di Hickman's latest sketch on her blog. I masked section of my base card to ink with Colorbox chalk ink in orange and lime, then I doodles the edges of those two sections with a prismacolor fine marker pen. Finally I stamped (fudged one flower unfortunately) using Lindsay Mason lovely flowers stamps and sentiment. I also used one stamp from Paula's I'm mentioning it to be fair, I used that tiny mini flower to create those two punched out circles where I wound a thread of fibers around.

Grunge Rose Card - Using my Tim Holtz TSV for the Dare U 2 Digistamp Challenge

I couldn't help but use my newly received Tim Holtz TSV from QVC for the Dare U 2 Digistamp challenge. This week it was pearl, so I've added three pearls and pearlised the picture too.

That's my first attempt at the grunge/dirty look and had lots of fun doing it getting all mucky.

Strolling down the Seine Card - Dare U 2 Digistamp

This week's Dare U 2 Digistamp card I created was inspired by three things : a lovely digistamp by craftingwithsue.blogspot.com, putting three tags on the side by a lovely French men scrapbooker and finally a lovely paper printed from the Funky Hand latest CD. I also used this adorable Tour Eiffel stamp from HOTP (Dream is also from that set too).

Gift boxes made with HOTP 7358 Kyla's Swirly Gift Box Template

I've had so much fun making making these two gift boxes: one for my brother in law for Christmas and the other for my niece's birthday. They're perfect to put some chocolates in them or a small token. We were able to fit a small bracelet in one and some beads in the other.

It's no secret I love HOTP templates and this one is another one of my favourites ! It takes a bit more perseverance with this one to get the folds to align properly but just make sure you score the lines and you'll be fine.

This is also a small preview of Vince's birthday card I made for him :

Flower Buds Card - Contribution to today's MCS show on Ideal World

I know me bad, but I just made one card, the rest of the cards were made by Vince. He's so talented, I'm in awe of his work all the time. You can have a look later on today when Vince will put his cards up, the show is at 2pm (GMT) Ideal World. Not one of my best I have to agree.
Very fun CD with plenty of images to play with...
